If I'd gone up to the Tablelands, there was a good chance I could have added Southern Cassowary.

Just checking - Great Black-headed Gull is a typo for Great Black-backed? On the basis that you said there was little spectacular. That'll be one less for the global list, unless someone in Europe has it.
I suspected that might be the case, but several national rarities had already been added by UK listers, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt.
