How to... (SF)
.... make a mess of a new species for the garden!! Take it sideways through the double-glazing!

After my neighbours lowered the hedge by a few feet I noticed that they'd got feeders hanging from their tree.

Last year was the first time I'd seen/heard any Greenfinches at all in the area, just a couple in the early Spring. Now here were two on that feeder (never been on mine the ratbags!)

I was so surprised, didn't dare open the window, didn't want to waste any time. And this was the result.

Oh well I thought.... maybe they'll be back. But not seen them since. I did hear one calling in the car park a week ago, but couldn't see it.

I live in hope!

Lol D, I have tried to take a few picture through our double paned windows before at an angle with similar results! Maybe the hedge being lowered will bring some to your feeders or on the roof. TFS!

No, not really, it's too far off to see, but mostly it's the same species that go to it as come to mine, so won't be very different I guess.
