History and Use

There is not much traffic on the narrow road, but it's quite popular with bicycles and motorbikes. The road may be closed in winter.

Access and Facilities

To reach the Col de Sorba leave the N193 (Corte - Ajaccio) south of Vivario (Café le Chalet). The road is signed to Ghisoni. After some 10kms you're on the pass. Search for birds on the pass or shortly before. Hotels can be found in Corte or Venaco. The next restaurant is the Café le Chalet. A car is needed for this area.
